Hellbent Hellhounds: regarding the abject actualities of the downtrodden serfs on the pastures of malignancy and woe

I was down at the Winona levee (on the Mississippi) with my friends Joel Hanson, Ben Steinquist, Matt Wagner, and Aron Welch the other day. I brought my camera along. And after jumping into the river myself, I started filming some of our goings on.

I tried editing it in a barebones, title logo-only fashion with no closing credit sequence and even completed editing. But I was displeased with it and deleted all of my work.

This is the second and final attempt at editing it--with far more pizazz than the first go at it.

Finally, I do believe my Canon HV20 has met its end with this final set of footage. I knew the day would ultimately come, and I've been planning on getting a better one for some time now. I should note that I have whole tapes of stuff that hasn't ever been attempted to be edited, as I'm out of harddrive space. So there's a little more HV20 work to come from me yet.

As far as when the next camera will be had... to be determined.
