@runhorun yes you do because the PA school doesnt necessarily equate to the first two yrs of med school....youd have to fulfill extra requirements for entrance into med school...things such as taking the MCAT, taking some additional courses like maybe biochemistry and etc...but it's not impossible im thinking of doing that down the line after i finish PA school so that i can work at a hospital and have them pay for me to get my M.D.

@m23ahmed lol honestly the higher you go there wont be many of us because alot of us aren't willing to work that hard, opportunities arent usually given to us and sometimes some of us have a mindset where if its not enough of us we dont go...so i say work hard do you and go if thats your desire we need more black people in those careers

I worked as a Medical Assistant at a family practice office for a couple of years. Others in our class worked at a CNA or EMT, any of which you need to get certified in first before getting paid. Good luck!!
