Great cover of one of my favourite Black/Atmospheric songs ever, originally performed and created by one of my favourite artists, Xasthur. Malefic is a genius!

This is a cover by Taarma off the 'Reflecting Hateful Energy (Tribute to Xasthur)' CD that I bought for only £4!!!!

  • But what about the end bit with the clean guitars?? I love that bit.

  • @MrLordjonathan - Taarma didn't play that bit. This is the whole cover from the cd.

  • Do you guys have the tabs? I would really like to have them

  • This is an amazing cover! Subscribed! Anybody has the tabs for this song? I love the riff at around 5:00

  • Where is the best part of the song ? The last 3 minutes ? This cover is shit

  • @sigilumsanguis The recording is way too distorted and muddy for me to make out well by ear. I am capable of doing that with some of Scott's recordings (like the Gate Through Blood Stained Mirrors demo), but I am not as good at knowing exactly what he played on Subliminal Genocide and/or Defective Epitaph. In any case, it is an impressive cover and props must be given. I agree there.

  • @evillurkswithinusall Learn to play it yourself. I did. If somebody feeds you the notes, it sort of loses meaning. Who do you think taught Jogezai to play this song? He figured it out himself. And he did a damn good job. There are a few points in the song where i can't tell the difference between his cover and the original. It's that good.

  • This is a very accurate translation of one of Malefics most moving works.

  • Holy mother father... I though that a piece could not be more distorted that Xasthur's discography. I assume I was wrong. Nice wall of sound and neat cover. Congratulations.

  • Damn, I wish I could get a tab for this track....
