2009 Connecticut State Police Awards Ceremony

Public Safety Commissioner John A. Danaher III and State Police Colonel Thomas Davoren are joined by Governor Jodi Rell and Attorney General Richard Blumenthal at the Connecticut State Police Academy in Meriden, CT for the 2009 presentation of public safety professionals' awards for life saving, merit, outstanding service, unit citations and Commissioner Civilian Recognition awards for bravery and service. Milford's Brendan Pawliszga was recognized among others for his bravery in freeing an injured motorsist from a burning vehicle following a serious crash without regard to his own personal safety. Congratulations to all the award recipients.
