  • @inkey2 Hello, Inkey. I think you may well be right - and our troops have the same problems currently. All this nonsense when it was Duane and his music we should be talking about! RW5791? He seems the major arsehole here - stirring up nonsense with his childish, snide comments. Ah well, that's life I suppose. Keep well, cheers, Les.

  • @lelboy my father was in ww2....he told me first hand that when he was drafted in 1940 into the US army they had almost no equipment and the equipment they did have was faulty junk

  • @inkey2 Hmm, and we didn't have problems after the 1920's into the 1930's? That's why we had a General Strike. And with our sense of morality - complete with sod all money and endemic deprivation - we jumped in to Poland's aid; the rest is history, but knowing it depends on whether you choose the US version or the rest of the world's.

All this nonsense because I hurt the feeling of a macho redneck. Having been a Duane, Elvis, Chet, Marty, Buddy and Eddie fan - I feel I have the right to.

  • @lelboy if you are refering to why the USA was late in coming into ww2 is because the USA had not upgraded their military since the first world war. The US military ranked 18th in the world in those years. In fact when the USA did start to draft it's citizens for ww2 quite a few were not accepted and sent home due to terrible health from trying to survive the great depression. It's like asking a starving sick man....hey, why didn't you jump in on this fight

  • @cbednar74 I totally agree : )

  • @lelboy you are one long winded little english fag boy, aren't you?Go catch a doubledecker bus and get your ass blown up by some sand niggers. Will you do that for me?

  • @rw5791 Against my better judgement.... You are 3000+ miles away, so all this macho talk is so much crap - go away, grow up and get a life. All this dreaming will do you no good, other than in your fantasies. You just a sad excuse for a guy, who can't get it up in real life, so you live it through macho talk on pages such as this. You really are pathetic, just like your idiotic preacher who wants to burn Korans. I've scraped better life forms than you off my shoe, after treading in dog shit.
