http://lotpatrol.com Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps 1998. DCI Finals - Opener Only. Crossmen placed 7th with a score of 91.4. The show was "A Pat Metheny Portrait" and included Third Wind, Letter from Home, and First Circle.

I'll try to upload the closer next chance I get.

  • Definitely one of my favorite shows ever.

  • I absolutely loved this segment of that show. I still walk around all these years later humming the melody, and I don't even like Metheny that much heh. This was a great percussion year for Crossmen and just a fun show.

  • We are playing Third Wind in our show this year.

  • Loved it when Crossmen's biggest issues were picking out colors. Nothing to take away from the members at the present, they're obviously talented. Hoping this year everything gels.

  • the best years of the Crossmen!!! The colorguard and drum line were always placing top 5 at finals:)

  • Tasty drum break at 2:14. I'm a sucker for marching half-time, too.

  • @whiteteethfanatic It's funny. I hear people say that all the time. Hell I have been hearing that since the early 90's and what's so funny is that it is being directed at the band directors and band staff that teach at the " successful " BOA groups but the majority of those people were in DCI/DCA/WGI and they still teach DCI/DCA/WGI...

  • @JessOnTheRun " Has never been as good since Thurston left ? " That's just not true..... 97/98 Hannum and Colin, hell man Mark Thurston was in the line at Crossmen when Hannum was teaching in 1980. Yea I personally like Mark's writing and feel better then the west coaster's that have come along but there have been some great years in there.

  • @c1981 Yes he does....
