Over the course of the Wii version videos I've put up, I've shown at least one video from every region in the game. Unfortunately, by necessity, I had to leave out one country for the reason that it only exists in the 360/PS3 version of Sonic Unleashed, which is whatever country Empire City is a part of...though the game implies that Empire City is its own country. Go fig.

There's a stereotype of the United States by people who don't live in North America. The three most popular stereotypes are that the entire country is New York City, a trailer park, the Wild West, or a combination of the above. That sort of stereotype must explain why the Empire City flag is meant to resemble the USA flag as a whole rather than just of, say, the state of New York.

Nevertheless, Sonic Team seems to be utterly fascinated with the visual look of the place. The visual designers traveled to NYC to get an authentic look to Station Square in Sonic Adventure, and now, the technology has reached the point where they could absolutely nail the look of the megalopolis. I've never traveled to the Big Apple before, so I'm not really sure which section it's based on. If it's any help, the hub seems to be based on Central Park.

This is the 7th country Sonic visits, so by now the game is getting pretty tough. Most of the action takes place on or along buildings with no actual ground ever being visible, so you have to stay on your toes. Not to mention that you get two mini-bosses in a row along...what bridge is that again? In any case, you have to watch your step, as Sonic spends most of his time either leaping between buildingtops or otherwise sailing across a 100-story abyss. If you observe carefully, not only is the sky brown with pollution, Sonic also passes by a few smog clouds on his way to the Goal Ring.

By the way, I'm experimenting with different video settings. This video should be much clearer than my previous videos. Tell me if you notice anything different about the quality, whether it be better or even worse than before.

thats cuz the ps2 just wont die. if they didn't pair the wii with teh ps2, this game could have a been a lot better. (on wii). the only thing the wii can't match teh 360/ps3 in is graphics. the wii version could have done the same stages, hubs, and same speed. but no. DAMN YOU PS2!!

@alphagangschomp Well, think of it this way: If I accepted any requests for games, tons of other people would come in to ask for other games. And there's no way I could find time to play it all, let alone afford them. This is what I noticed. The moment I start accepting requests, the floodgates open. They come storming in.

for missions I think you should have called them something like:green hill zone classic sonic mission 3 vs knuckles or chemical plant zone classic sonic mission 1 tails
