Greatfood.ie guest chef Seiya Nakano shows how to julienne carrots. This makes them useful for stir-fries where they can cook quickly or you can blanch them and toss them in lemon juice and butter. Thanks for posting this. Last time I tried to julienne carrots I gave up in irritation and left them out of the dish. After watching this I successfullly julienned my little heart out today. So easy, once you see how.

This and the grater is a good way for people to eat or "down" their veggies and other foods. Adds more flavor, easier to chew, more nutrition available than solid wasteful chunks of food.....a reason why people are becoming more and more interested in "juicing" their veggies and making drinks. Think about it, baby food is much like "juiced foods". Also, you can eat less and get the same nutrition with this,saving food and money, and even gas.
