I read a lot about this... its not good to swim or run fast. it may reduce muscles and not fat. swim normal pace and make sure you dont pant too much.
the best is to do workouts and swimming... thats what i do. a body with more muscles burnes more calories. thats why this combination is the best to loose weight. make sure you eat enough proteins(egg-white)... thats essential to build muscles. 3 time a week swimming and 2 or 3 time workout is enough... you will find many thread if you google a bit. ;)

Every kind of sport helps you to loose weight... is this question serious? ^^
I prefer swimming, cause running overloads the joints... just watch videos here and think about it how to improve the technique, then i will work...
what would you suggest will be better to lose wieght thru, fast paced swimming or slow long swimming?

running but its probably bad for your knees..
