  • Good pick for a restoration. A friend of mine's parents bought him one when we were in high school. Funny, after all these years. I can't remember the friend. But I do remember the car.

  • A restored one sold for 47000? Sounds far fetched........ anywayyyy

This is a beautiful car. Not a fan of front ground effects but this one looked great. We need to save the GTs!! Been looking for a solid one to restore because I want to build one with a targa conversion that I can drive the wheels off. Mine (1973) just goes to shows and the 4th of July parades. Parents bought it new off of the Kolar Buick showfloor in Duluth, MN. Was Mom's summertime go to work car.

  • I found an Opel GT that I am thinking of buying. It's almost completely done being restored, just needs a couple pieces assembled. Can someone explain to me why it's only $350????

  • Sweet build! I have one myself :)

  • That's awesome! It really makes me want to restore on too. Somebody near me has two 70's Opel gts for sale for $450 l, one has an engine the other doesnt. I really wan. To get them!

  • Gorgeous car!!!!! Good job. One more work of art on the road for all to enjoy.

  • I hope not, I like being able to get my parts and parts cars for cheap!

  • I WANT ONE!

  • I read in Hemmings a few months ago that the not so distant Opel Gt prices will be going through the roof. Glad I have mine.

  • you put alot of time and care into that restoration, great job! how long did it take overall. and how much did it cost to bring it back from near death?
