Keith Richards did NOT light Gram on fire. Read Wikipedia about Gram. Keith & Gram were friends. It was Gram's road manager/best friend Phil Kaufman & one of Phil's friends who did the deed. There is the 2003 film Grand Theft Parsons stars Johnny Knoxville as Phil Kaufman and chronicles a farcical version of the theft of Parsons' corpse. There is the "Gram Parsons: Fallen Angel" DVD worth checking out. Read WIkipedia. P.S. I am sorry of my tone sounds 'angry', please I dont mean it that way.

Keith Richards didnt help light gram parsons on fire. you should have backed up and videotaped. "original piece of grafitti" should be at the right look down 0:35 "GP Bird flying high over the san andreas fault" was there for many years, in ROLLING STONE and various books. when I was there in the either late 1990's early 2000 (I forgot) the slab was there & everything was there. The Slab has since been moved to the INN, & the NPS sandblasts cap rock every once in a while.

keith richards was not there for the cremation. at 0:46 to the cameras right, one of the rocks should say on it "GP a bird flying high over the san andreas fault" I was there in either the late 1990's but I was there. Concrete slab was there, the rock with the writing (that has many photos in rolling stone and many books) well the NPS has moved the slab to the INN & the NPS still comes by and sandblasts ect...you should have backed up and taken footage.

We visited this site yesterday. It's quite an interesting place.
I would have backed up and taken footage, had there been anything else to film.
I guess the things you're speaking of from the late nineties may have been painted over or have worn away. There's nothing about a bird flying high, just a newer image (about a year old) of a bird saying "Rest In Peace, Cowboy Angel" or something.
You win, though. Clearly, you know more than I. Might want to work on that "non-angry" tone though...
