Flip Clock With Groundhog Day Alarm

I got this awesome flip clock radio from ebay. It has a built-in cassette deck that can record from an external source. That's just begging for a Groundhog Day recording, and so I did!

You can see the alarm go off, and get the familiar radio sample from the movie. It doesn't start at the familiar 6:00am though, because those flip clocks are not very precise. It's always a few minutes off, so I didn't bother.

The clock radio is a Hanimex HRC 3100. The clock didn't work when I got it, and it was very dirty. I fixed it and gave it a proper cleaning. Now, it works 100%, and will once again serve its duty as an alarm clock.

@AlienMissile It's a Hanimex HRC 3100. A Japanese brand. I never heard of it before. The only reference to this clock you find on google are sites indexing one of my other videos.

@AlienMissile I've also seen a very similar model; a Realistic Chronomatic Model 14-885. It's 99% identical except for an additional snooze button, and a gruesome brown color.

where did you get the audio for this? is it good quality? been trying to do the same myself but audio is holding me up

my neighbor has this alarm and it went off at 3 am the other day, and it wouldnt turn off. that same damn song over and over and over
