You are all slaves. Your government is so far off its principles and you are all dependant. As long as you have a government that you allow to plunder labor (tax) from one group to give benefits to another to be played for by future generations that you have no right to speak for and indenture into slavery, you have failed John Lock, and Jefferson and the Republic. You have failed to carry the torch of Freedom and Liberty and Self Reliance and Self Responsibility and Self Determination.

Rep Carter, thanks for this effort to tell Congress that they need to obey laws in the same way as other citizens. This principle was one of the best parts of the Contract with America, and it is too easily forgotten.

For me, this shows about everthing i don't like (i could use another word..) about america. is this a real show, or is this a joke? if this was some colbertreport-esque satire ...ok..., but i understand that this is an actual opinionated news-show. It's...it's beyond opinionated, it's just plain .... i dunno. i don't find the right words....
