he only lived to 31. these things life spans go up to 60 years or so. he must have died of some kind of thing.

Today on NPR talking about her book, Alex & Me, she said that Alex died of cardiac arrhythmia. And that the vet told her there would've been nothing she could have done had she been there when it happened. Rest in Peace Alex. :^(
