HAHAHA, my wife and I were in this same Inn for this same blizzard !!! Our car was completely buried to the roof.
Our introduction also, to Ellsworth AFB. I remember, like a day or 2 before it was about 70 degrees, then this blizzard for about 28 hours.

HAHAHA LOL
Brings back many memories. I spent 18 years in that.
Strange thing about it if you don't have to drive it makes everyone
happy with a few Hot TODDIES and everyone is a friend forever.
Nice people used to live there??

@clancymt go to Browning ,Mt. u will c storms like that
Great Video! and welcome to the Hills. I have to say, as a former SD resident (now in Montana) I don't miss those storms and fortunately we don't have them like that here. Well, the general saying in South Dakota is that if you don't like the weather, wait a day, it will change. Wait until the dead of winter and you get a 65-70 degree day there. It will make you forget about November!

Thanks! Yeah, my brother was stationed up here for 8 years and told me that South Dakota holds a record for the most dramatic temperature change. There would be blue skies and then 30 minutes later snow everywhere. Pretty crazy. Take care.
