Deadly Typhoon Slams Philippines, Vietnam

Two new storms brewing with hundreds taken or injured, 1.9 million homes flooded and nearly 380,000 people have sought shelter in schools, churches and other evacuation centers. Also early tuesday, a powerful 8.3 Pacific Ocean earthquake spawned towering tsunami waves that swept ashore on Samoa and American Samoa, flattening villages, sweeping cars and people out to sea. Four tsunami waves 15 to 20 feet high roared ashore, reaching up to a mile inland.

A powerful typhoon slammed into cental Vietnam on 09/29/2009, some 32 taken and flooding towns and villages along the country's long coastline, including parts of the port city of Danang, state-run Vietnam Television showed, according to Reuters.

As the first to comment, may I express my deepest regret and sympathies to the plight of the sinistered. Our world is changing so quickly, that denial, of these catastrophic global change realities, has become the rule not the exception. I pray that you over come these climatic changes and survive the next coming decade that hold even worse for the future. By pooling the global resources of the planet, much suffering could be avoided.
