Kennedy's butchers, famed for its sausages, closed down in December 2007 after 130 years. This film is an insight into British traditions, such as traditional butchers, are being lost to modern society and supermarket culture.

This is brilliant! Top marks to whoever made this film - this is a serious piece of Deptford history.
The sausages were OK, but Bill's at Wellbeloved on Tanner's Hill were much better (and more expensive, but you get what you pay for).
Bill seemed worried about what he was going to do after the shop closed - as far as I know, he's enjoyed the fact that his work doesn't interfere with the gee-gees...

I used to live in Watson St Deptford over 30 years ago and Kennedys was the best.I can still remember that there Pies and Sausages whre second to none
