Don't talk to me, don't say it's fine
don't tell me that it's just a state of mind
We're both well aware
YOU'RE on top of the world
Don't try to make me understand
don't calm me down and take my hand
and treat me like
some naive little girl
Cause I'm feeling like a sacrificial lamb,
your stepping stone nobody understands
and I'm feeling like some kind of stranger
in a world that doesn't know who I am
I'm not dead, and I'm not from outer space
so what makes you look at me with that question on your face?
We're both well aware
you barely look at me anymore
You've got your stage, you've got your lights
you've got your faces to look forward to on Saturday nights
I've come to wonder just
what the hell you need me for
And I'll say it's not a problem
oh, no--it's not a problem
it can't be a problem
Why can't I believe it's true?
But--it's not a problem
of course it's not a problem!
But then...if it's not a problem...
...why can't I feel happy for you?
Don't you know who I am?
Don't you know who I am?
....I am going to Guam.

thank you so much! I had a lot on my mind when I wrote this song, and looking back on it now, it's probably one of my most honest, most passively hostile/indignant songs...more than a lot of my others at least. I really appreciate your watching and enjoying it! :)

I really like this, anondyne94. You've composed a song that's strongly imbued with the sense of contradiction that is so often a part of being human. It has a lot more depth than most of the contemporary popular music I hear, and I favor that a lot. Very nice!
