Corruption: Typical all-or-nothing-fallacy of the simple minded. The answer is: Corruption can be scaled.
#1 economy: Laughable. It's service and virtuality (i.e. speculation). You're deindustrialized (if you know what that is).
Millionaires: Shows the opening divide. Guess that helps you a lot.
Nothing can hurt you: Especially if China drops 1 000 000 000 000 d0llars or Venezuela stops the oil.

Crumbling $, housing bubble, huge trade deficit, corrupt govt (find me one country with out one) 9/11 attacks and yet let's see:
Still the #1 Economy in the World.
More millionaires in this country than any other.
People reach their dreams and become successful millionaires like no other place in the world.
What else is new the world hates on this country why? THEY ARE JEALOUS!!! Nothing can hurt us and that pisses people off.
Love it or get the FUCK OUT! Its simply the best thing going!

could it be possible that americans don't see beyond their fat behinds? don't you realize that if you pull out of irak your entire economy will shut down. you are dependent of irak's cheap oil. so any politician saying that he will pull american forces out of irak is either a liar or he is pulling out just to send them over to another country that presents interest for american economy.

Oh, except that the d0llar is crumbling, your housing bubble gone, your trade deficit huge, your M3 unknown, your petrodollar ending, your spending endless, your gov corrupted, the world hates you, you're going down soon. When Emmanuel Todd predicts your end it's time to shiver. He predicted the end of the SU before it happened.

A new Congressional study finds that President Bush's plans for the U.S. in Iraq over the next several decades will reach the trillions of dollars, on top of the approximately $567 billion the war has already cost. That accounting assumes a significant troop draw-down — and still tallies a daunting expense for the United States.

THEY ARE NO HEROS...

Bush snr to Bush jnr:
"Son, you're making the same mistake in Iraq that I made with your mother. I didn't pull out in time ..."
