With a little time and work, it could look pretty good for the cost. Just remember that since you are using what is pretty much particle board, that it may need some reinforcement around the monitor shelf and the sticks if it is going to be leaned on at all during use. I'd recommend getting a few 4" or 5" steel L's at a hardware store just to be safe.
