One of the toughest workouts i have ever done. I am ill (fever, sore throat) and i was feeling weak..I had two failed attempts with these weights before this lift. I didn't want to miss this lift and screw my deadlift routine.. So, i went outside the gym and tried to "clean" my mind.. When your body is unavailable to respond good, you must find a way to let your mind do the work..
As the quote says "Strength does not come from physical capacity.It comes from an indomitable will." There are no limits or excuses..just the will to make your goals..

The workout plan for today was: 2x225kg, 5x3 187,5 and 8x3- stiff leg deadlift, bent over rows, underhand lat pulldowns, goodmornings (in a circuit).
It was hard but i finally made it and keep going.
There are NO EXCUSES. There is no illness, no weakness..Just 100%dedication.

Now i feel even worse but with good rest and proper nutrition i will recover and come back stronger.(If i had lost todays training i would have felt even worse..so it's ok)

You must find the strength which hiding inside you. You can lift whatever you have in mind.

Train hard or GO HOME.

  • umm, sorry, but... straps, on a deadlift? if u can't even hold the wheight, it's not a lift. better work your grip, bro, sorry to burst your bubble. i never used them, or a belt. remember, this is not a bodybuilding, but a powerlifling move. train as if u were competing.

  • yeah, the paths of life are blurry but our will to pass through them must be as hard as the iron we lift!

    My bench is currently "sleeping", after my 140Kg attempt now my bench is telling me to go light for a while and come back strong on another wave. On the other hand, my deadlift is angry with me because i have not done any in 3 months o.0 I guess is time to turn the deadlift into my main pift for a month or 2.
