SWIV was a 2D vertically-scrolling Shoot 'em up game original released in 1991 for the Commodore Amiga and Atari ST 16-bit home computer formats.
The game was considered a spiritual successor to Tecmo arcade game Silkworm, which The Sales Curve) had previously converted to home computer formats in 1989. SWIV is an unofficial sequel, but the game's heritage is evident from the game design whereby one player pilots a helicopter, and the other an armoured Jeep.

Hey folks, I can't believe this has been uploaded.
I wrote the music to this game back in 1990, it was my first gig as a games composer back when I was just a wee 17 yr old. They paid me £350 and 2 copies of the game!
It was written on Noisetracker and now I cringe at a few of the not-quite-in-tune samples, but at the time there wasn't any way of tuning them.
Suffice to say I still score games, we started a little FB page a few months ago, come say hello, look up Bob and Barn on Facebook!
