Cinq Melodies de Venise'
"Mandoline"
The givers of serenades
And their lovely listeners
Exchange insipid remarks
Under the singing branches.
It is Tircis and Aminte,
And the eternal,
And it is Damis, who for many cruel
Made tender verses of poetry.
Their short jackets of silk,
Their long dresses with trains,
Their elegance, their joy,
And their soft blue shadows,
Whirling in the rapture
Of a pink and grey moon.
And the mandolin chatters
Amid the shivers of the breeze.
"En Sourdine"
Calm in the twilight
That the high branches cast,
Let us fully penetrate our love
In this deep silence.
Blending our hearts and souls
Enrapturing our senses
Among the vague languor
Of the pines and arbors.
Close your eyes halfway,
Cross your arms over your heart,
And from your sleeping heart
Chase away all purpose forever.
Let us be persuaded
To the rocking, sweet breath
That comes to your feet to wrinkle
The waves of red grass.
And in the solemn evening
From the dark oaks will fall
The voice of our despair;
The nightingale sings.

@jackoajl I've not been able to find either song as a PDF. You'll probably have better luck finding it in an anthology.
