She has impressed, I was becoming a little bit fed up with her singing. She did to many massive concerts, etc, but she has really improved her singing and bringing life to this characer, she has not given up as so many do when they get to a top level. Well done Madame Dessay.
I don't like her tendency to sing into the pitch rather than hitting it straight on. Her use of pianissimo is such a cheat as well, she has suspect breath support. But I do like her willlingness to be original with the interpolations, she genuinely surprised me, so thats good I guess. Her histronics on the stage are compelling. Her total lack of staccato is a problem. But what a high E at the end. I guess I liked it.

Anyway...I love Dessay, but her acting shouldn't affect the beauty of the voice.
