We accually did shoot an older body armor front plate back in 2003 and we had the same result. No full penitration, just a bulge on the back side of the plate.

@MrBoredGuy2011 finally someone else who sees this. When me and my brother in law saw dragon skin for the first time thats the first thing we said. All the test ive seen show direct shots at 90 degress straight to the chest, anything at an angle coming up would pass through unless they doubled the armor up with opposing layers. It didnt make much sense to me especially with ieds and all that being so prevalent.

Dragon skin is crap in the case of the average modern soldier explosions are the threat....... In studies dragon skin didn't protect from shrapnel or debris flying up because the scale act like reptile skin and when u rub it backwards it puffs out
