@hardyboyzrko sorry i meant to say metal wasn't commercial, so it wasn't on the radio. Bands like Metallica, Slayer, Medadeth, Anthrax are not meant for the radio..and I think that's the way they wanted it. Glam was massive in the 80's for the radio playable songs. Bands realized that if you wanna make it big, you gotta look good, and sound good for the radio. That's the kinda stuff I like, however the thrash metal scene was hating it. Probably out of jealousy in my opinion.

@Rattmaster86 Yep totally agree with you mate. I used to tell people about Blackie Lawless and they looked at me like I was from the Moon lol.
And your right those later Crue songs did and still do get played here in Aus . I also used to like 60's music and 60's type cover bands, and certainally stood out with my bleached long Blonde hair and leather jacket, somehow I did alright lol

@hardyboyzrko Metal ruled the underground world I guess, it was the music of the decade tho. You couldn't get away from it. But most metal was commercial, so it wasn't on the radio. Thats why bands like Poison, Cinderella, Ratt got big cos they wrote radio friendly songs. Crue had a few, Home Sweet Home, Girls Girls Girls, Dr. Feelgood, pretty much the material after Shout At The Devil was played.

@SearchWithinDivine Well I did and believe me it didnt rule the World I was a dedicated fan, but unless you hung with other metal fans, you were on your own. You also could not hear any of the Crues songs on mainstream Radio
