Heya :) This is my entry for the LMS competition. I believe it to be my best video, even though my skills have most definitely improved (this vids so choppy at parts) I really loved making this video, I loved the story I made up and I think it's kinda sad too - I dunno, I think it's my best anyway! :)

-~-~-~ Story ~-~-~-

The story is mainly focused on Cid's viewpoint, and this is why you will see a lot of black and white images of Rikku - memories of her that enter his mind constantly.

Cid and Rikku are a couple.
Cid is a pilot in the army, and Rikku is a female soldier.
Both have paired up to work for AVALANCHE, in an attempt to lead in the ending of the world war that is destroying their planet.

Battles are being fought on land, air and sea, and Rikku and Cid have to face up to the idea that their world will never be the same.
Both take in the world around them, looking at the beautiful sights and enjoying each others company before the war really takes hold. Cid takes Rikku to watch the sky and the sea in order to spend more time with her, and he makes a promise to always be there for her, forever waiting at her side.

"I'll be here..."
"Why...?"
"I'll be 'waiting' here..."

Meanwhile, the war rages on. Cid watches as Rikku smiles at him, a beautiful smile that stays with him through all the dark moments of battle.

The leader of the opposition force creates a spell that attacks through the summoning of bird like monsters, and Cid is involved in the fight against them, coming through it by thinking of Rikku.

Together with the strongest of AVALANCHE's force (i.e. the cast of Final Fantasy X and Dirge of Cerberus haha) Rikku and Cid are shown what the damage the war and the black magic will do to their planet.
Realising that this will destroy everything they love, they resolve to fight on, even though they are scared to be apart.

As they prepare to fly out to the battle field, and for Cid to board another airship, Rikku and Cid talk, and tell each other "I love you."

Arriving at the battle, Rikku is immediatly attacked, but Cid fends them off, saving her.
Prepared for battle, they say good bye, and Cid boards his airship.

Rikku enters an abandoned and roofless church, and Cid in his airship can see her below him. Looking up at him, she fails to notice an enemy soldier.
Cid can only watch helplessly as she turns to fight him...
She is too late.

Rikku's blood spills and she falls to the floor lifeless.

Broken-hearted, Cid cries and remembers Rikku.
Not noticing what is going on, Cid's airship is attacked.
Seeing the missiles a moment too late, Cid's airship explodes, and he falls through the air, landing in the church beside Rikku.

In death they are together once more.

I loved this! The pairing I've always wanted to see done but never got the motivation to do myself, this was done quite spectaularly I must say with what little footage of each character there is.

Loved the story as well, the video and it went perfectly together. 5/5
