  • @JOHNEY101 That's the exact same thing my husband was wondering, as he is interested in this field as well. It seems to me there would be, but that's just a guess.

  • @ApolloMusician With EASA there are different levels of training. Level 1,2,3 ect. Level one would be for example, the aircraft has flight controls that move up and down, level 2 would be, the flight control uses actuators to move flight controls up and down. level 3 would be how the hydraulic fluid moves within the hydraulic actuator to move the the flight control. With EASA a B licenced engineer will have to go through most systems to level 3. Then you must prove practical OJT before approval

  • @Hot5hots Is it harder, or more specific? I know that more systems than not prefer to have mechanics "typed" on specific aircraft, where in the States, we receive more general training, and specific training from private firms for which we work. I'm curious, because the only other certification process I really have any knowledge of is that of the Canadian AME.

  • @jvn1111 They already outsource to south America. I wont mention names but there are several airlines that fly to san salvador for heavy maintenance and there are several heavy maintenance stations here in the US but by far the ones in south america are cheaper and do a better job then stations here in the US.

  • very soon all of this jobs going to outsource to China, aircraft can flight to anywhere in 24hrs for cheap maintenance.

  • @IsaIphone $11.00 USD an hour if you work on Cessna single engine

  • What is the average Salary of a aircarft tech????

  • @donkekeli Mohawk Valley Community College

  • @djdrek16 where did you take your A&P course?
