  • Cake mix = bad. It tasted terrible and cooked even worse. Don't try my idea unless u have an iron stomache:)

  • @DaveDaJew lol

  • Mitch, how do you eat it. Do you add water and cook it?

  • @winterskyshadow35 All measurements given in ratios.. thus you can make this with any size container... that's why it was done this way, i show the percentages of materials in my container a few times..

    Basically,

50% Flour, 10% Oats, 10% Flax Seeds, 30% Sugar, and dashes of Cinnamon and Salt.

Hope this makes more sense in writing for ya, this way ANY container will work, no measuring..

    Thanks ; )

  • lol, I wanna go camping with this guy! never go hungry :)

  • @Nativesurvival oh man, that is amazing. The whole family was amazed. This one is a keeper for sure. Made mine with dried apples.

  • @Nativesurvival Saw a post to RMDM502, but couldn't find his question for context. Was the 2 part oats, 1 part pancake mix your updated bannock recipe? Can't wait to try this version out this weekend. Anyway, thanks for the great information and all the excellent videos you put out. Much appreciated sir.

  • Never had bannok, wonder if you add like a cocoa mix to it if itll taste yummie?

  • I'd suggest when you do finally get a second Guyot bottle, put your bannock mix in a plastic bag inside your bottle, that way it both helps it stay dry and you can take it out if you need to use your bottle as a container, and then put it back without worrying about having to pour it out, or having it contaminated by whatever you put in your bottle in the meantime. Plus, an extra plastic bag is always a good bit of kit.

  • @RMDM502 Yup.

  • @RMDM502 Cool , yeah the pancake mix has it.. a good ratio i have going fight now is

    2 parts oats

    1 part pancake

    1/2 part flax seeds

    1/3 part sugar

    dash of salt..

    Mitch
