Ford trucks are insulated pretty well but when the doors are open you'll hear it from the other town.

Another alternative to the box size and location issue is to take out the center console and the /20/ portion of front seat. That gives you box room, and amp room behind your drivers seat. It's not too hard to do either. I have two 10" Kicker CVRs in a down facing box there that slams. I can prove it too because I already got a ticket for it being too damn loud. I like your truck man... fuck the haters. Btw I have an extended cab so I have even less room than you. Custom center consoles are BA

@WHATtheDOCordered Shit was a lease. I got a ticket because the highs were too loud. For a first system it was pretty good. Now I own a car and build my own stuff. 32 speakers and 17 T.V.s in a ford focus.

nice sound system. but did you lose the functionality of the back seats because of that sub? You could have faced the sub downwards with a smaller box or somethin.

@macaboo there are 2 boxes I could buy that would fit perfectly. This kicker one and a Pioneer one. I picked Kicker because it sounded better. The seats fold down and lock. No problems.
