ATAC TV's staff Mark Flinn & Lenny Bolton teach you how to clear a failure to eject malfunction. A video specific to the Ruger Mini 14 rifle. It is very rare for this type of action, which came from the M14 is extremely reliable. The type of bolt system and large ejection port help prevent this particular malfunction. But it still can happen and you should know ho to clear it. www.AtacTv.com Free 24 x 7

  • My Mini 14 has never failed to eject any kind of round I've put trough it, and I use cheap Russian steel case Brown Bear ammo all the time. I've heard this stove pipe problem tends to happen a lot with after market mags, but who knows shooters should always be ready for the unexpected. Thanks for the advice though!!!

  • Very reliable, rugged. Glad to see these programs on the Mini14!

  • The newer Mini-14s actually do have a side ejecting port, They fling that brass like it's no body's business. I have never seen a mini or any garand style rifle jam like that before. I know it's pretty common with AR style rifles because they have a pretty weak ejector which is almost totally encased in the upper receiver. it's too bad the military didn't adopt the mini; it beats the crap out of the AR in terms of reliability and low maintenance, plus the new ones are just as accurate.
