I'm from Peru... I know there's a lot of cheaters who say they're shamans and they're finally not. This video is weird for me... That place looks like the Andes, but the tradition of ayahuasca is not at all from the Andes but from the Amazonia. At the same time, I'm suspicious on that song... That guy is singing in Spanish?? Come on! Real shamans never use Spanish in traditional ceremonies as they always use the native languages from the Amazonia. ADVICE: look for real shamans.

@stargroove4 Jim Morrison sung in English, and what? I'm not trying to say that shamans don't use Spanish or English when they sing. That's irrelevant. What I say is that shamans from the Amazonia are used to sing in their native languages (shipibo, awajun, matze, and so on...), since language is always connected with culture in the mankind. And the ayawaska trip is part of the ancient culture from the Amazonia.

@AtuqmiKani There IS an Ayahuasca tradition in the Andes-- that is where the Icaros in Quechua come from! Also, I have worked with an amazing Peruvian Shamaness from a more Mestizo lineage-- she is amazing and powerful and in fact, sings the Icaros in Spanish.

@AtuqmiKani Unfortunately you are right. There is no real thing anymore: everything has been commercialized, and when foreigners go to buy it, they are cheated the more. For instance, there is no good Chinese medicine practitioner here in London. You would be as good as throwing your money away.
