  • You guys are doing very well, your voice is a little in between Neil's and Eddy Vedder's...

I'm also busy on an old black replica(less professional as yours), based on my dad's old Yasuki (quite unknown brand, but made quite a good black les paul replica). Next thing to buy is a Bigsby B7, but it goes quite slowly cause it costs quite much and I'm just 19years old...

I also just bought a decent Laney VC30 amp, but which pedal do you recommend for songs like this and cinnamon girl, Loner,...?

  • @TheKrissstof once you get that Firebird Pickup in you'll hear where that Killer Sound comes from. Drive the Tubes as hard as you can and you will Love the results! Thanks for the Kind words...this is from a few Years ago now...different players now but even better with Slide and Keys. Thanks again.

  • Great job, guys! I can't imagine a better tribute gig than playing Neil- his songs are all incredible... I can really tell you guys enjoy his music- just wish I lived closer to Vancouver to come see you... (Indiana here) I like everything I've seen of yours so far, gotta love that youtube------

  • Thanks conn, truly appreciated. Neil is a Master!

  • You guys are smokin!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the backdrop with the giant thirty foot high amps! All you lack is some of those little JAWA guys.

Roger - you've got some of the really crucial Neilisms down nail tight!

Even the inexplicable chop rhythm and the up on the balls of your feet Neil Hop.

If you have some time look up Neil's whizzer contraption - won't waste your day if you already know about it...

  • Well....can't imagine a comment being any better. Many many thanks for that Teflon! I researched Neil's Whizzer and Floorboard, even been in talks with Neil's Amp Wizard Sal Trentino and the Amazing Larry Cragg...so many Toys, so little time!! Thanks again, glad we are doing alright. Roger ps...we do have Two Road-Eyes :o)

  • Great job. Really captured the raw feel of the early Crazy Horse albums. As mentioned earlier, the guitar playing here is vintage Neil, and the background vocals in the chorus sound just like they do on record. And you guys pull off the Neil/Whitten vocal duo wonderfully. Just an all-around great job.

  • Thanks Mavis...very kind words. The Canadiens Jersey does add to the Neil Feel eh? Even though he's not the Lead Player as that's been left up to me as Neil. Thanks so much!

  • Thanks Herbie, greatly appreciate the comments and the kind words. Neil is untouchable but we try to get as close as we can.

  • Great tune! And great job paying tribute...
