I saw The Sound of Music on Broadway in 1960 when I was nine. I could never stomach Julie Andrews with her British accent playing a German fraulein. Gimme a break. It was so plastic.

@TheImmortalMusic uh no idiot! why bc Julie is the first one..and without Julie's exquisite performance she wouldnt knw how to act in the first place..why?! bc every actor have their own ways of showing what the character is and Julie definitely was the best one..Martin just copied it hahaha
