  • Why do liberals and republicans always make something a case of left or right. Republicans and Liberals died that day, why can't people grieve together instead of blame each others political ideologies

  • How many friggin' times did Gumble have to press about why the witnesses felt the second plane was deliberate? He asked the same question of each witness. At some point it was obvious. None of the other anchors acted this way.

  • bryant gumbel is a fucking moron

  • I was at my house eating breakfast, and watching an episode of "Little House On the Prairie", after i got dune eating my breakfast, i got up, and was puting my empty plate in the kitchen sink in the kitchen, when I heard the news came on, i rushed to the living room, and I started watching this, i quickly got on my phone and i called my friend, and i told her to turn the news on, and she turned the news on at her house, and she was shocked.

  • Do you guys realize how much s*** he'd have been in if he claimed it was a deliberate attack w/o any confirmed info only to find out he was wrong and it wasn't deliberate? He asked repeatedly b/c he wanted it to be clear that it was eye-witness accounts only, not factual information. He was also repeating for people who had just tuned in. Nothing to get worked up over...he did the best he could with what he had. Breathe, relax and think about what's actually important, the lost & their families.

  • Just gives you an idea how few mobile phones there were at the time next to what there are now. If I'd had been in a building on the 24th floor next to the WTC, I'd have got the f*** out of there and not stayed on the phone with Gumble.

  • I hope Bryant Gumbel still feels shame of how much of an idiot he was on this day.

  • "What makes you say this is deliberate?" Uh well I don't know what are the chances of 2 planes flying into the World Trade Center on the same day, in the same hour, and on a clear day. BUt maybe its just coincidence'!'

  • @Reckin007

No need to cuss. Take a look at other networks' footage, like NBC, or CNN, for instance. A big difference. That was my point. I agree that he's human, and it was mayhem, but Couric, and Lauer, and Gibson, etc, did NOT, repeatedly ask the same questions over and over.

  • @rafalweb Dude it was fucking MAYHEM that day...what the fuck do you want from the guy?? He's a real human being too...everyone was panicking/scared.

  • the reason why he is pressing the question of a deliberate act is because he did not want to say it was a deliberate act without confirmation and scare the viewing audience.

  • All these gays that he interviews in this report are freaking out and getting way too dramatic, complaining about how their clothes got ruined.
