Whoever took this video should be ashamed of themself. She is a woman going about her business and is clearly distressed and confused by you taking this video ,She is not a tourist attraction or a caged animal there for your amusement or revulsion.

We are angry because when westerner go to other countries we "tend" to forget rules of common civility to our fellow man. If she asked this woman before hand, I have nothing against the woman who took this video. Though it kind of looks like she went up to this woman and just started filming. I personally would be pissed if someone I've never seen in my life came up to me and started a narrated documentation of my person without introducing themselves and asking for permission first.

I'm not really sure why everyone is so mad at this person for taking the video, i would have done the same thing. It's a very old custom so you don't see very many people who have bound feet. I find it's very interesting and is a part of history. No one really knows the contents of the very short seven second video so calm down.

@simonconran111 But you could also argue that this woman just might like her feet, since she is still binding them (the white part) unlike some women of her era, and is showing them off in pretty shoes and contrasting colors. Look up "Lotus Gait (bound feet)" here on youtube for a comparison. We see it as a disfigurement and subjugation, but she just might like them. If she wants to draw attention to them, that is her right, and you can't then blame people for looking.
