Interesting video with shocking sound! Pity, as the Mini is a 20th Century icon. I had the 850cc pick-up - over 50mpg. Wonderful vehicle, just wish I still had it. Interestingly the pick-up shared tail lights with the Rover 90/100/110 etc.

There's only one true Mini, and that's the one produced at Longbridge between 1959 and 2000. The BINI is a fat, ugly and characterless abomination of a car that will never be as fun to drive and iconic as the original.

@bikerdude96 As much as I agree with you. Mini would cease to exist if BMW hadn't have bought them and continued. I own both BTW.

Rubbish, you can buy far better cars for a great deal less money than a NEW BINI. It's just as well that Alec Issigonis got cremated, otherwise he'd be doing 3,000 revolutions per minute and accelerating considering what BMW have done.
