His comeback years only, sadly! A conservative qualifier meant he often had to fight his way through the field, few had more overtaking practice...

  • each of your videos are perfect!! but the music....can you make better choices? xD

  • @Falippas Tell it to YouTube!

  • F1 EDUCATOR - Your vids are top stuff, i luv em and keep em coming. Can you do a Jackie Stewart one. The AJ one was brilliant and I wish more young F1 fans watch these to get a taste of REAL F1.

I find Niki Lauda to be the MOST SILKY SMOOTH DRIVER EVER, ever watch him in the office-just sooooo smooth. This was his way of going BULK FAST.

  • @izybluffen Cheers.

Keeping them coming is hard - YT or FOM block so many vids in so many different ways that I'm totally demotivated atm. Jacques Laffite and John Watson overtakes have been denied. Mansell, Senna, Keke Rosberg, and various Hamilton ones I've already done and are dotted around YT.

I have Prost and Piquet Snr overtakes half done for months but haven't got round to completing them..

Doing a montage from anything earlier than 1980 is impossible as there just isn't the footage.

  • thx from austria!

  • Fantastic collection of Lauda's overtakes

  • Great "burned" driver...

  • This is an excellent video.

However, although McLaren cars are shown throughout, I'm somewhat confused whether the clips are of 1984 or 1985 because one segment shows Senna in the black JPS Lotus and if I remember rightly, in 1984 Senna was driving the Toleman. Incidentally, is there any way of getting to see Senna's symphony at the 1984 Monaco Grand Prix?

Once again, a great video but I would have preferred the snarl of the engines to music. Guess you can't have everything.

  • Only one comment for such a video?! What a shame! Great video for a great champion! It's a pity we can not see more of Lauda's races on record, he's un artist of a driver ... and a scientist in the same time ... Thanks for sharing this video!

  • One of the finest drivers EVER! Living legend!
