Love the use of Super 8 and still images in this film.

I really relate to the questions you're asking yourself, about your style and identity and personality, where they come from, how they're built on so many small moments of your past and influenced by visual culture and relationships and emotions...and it's hard to know how to connect it all for a viewer when within yourself it doesn't even make complete sense. You don't come off as egotistical at all. It's a great idea. I wish you the best with it, Andy :)

The other thing you could do is look for lessons or stories that you've learned something from. Then create a film around that, again, grounding it in things that have happened in your life or in your families life.

Hey man. Here are a couple things you could do. Tell some short stories about your present day life, and reach into your archives to demonstrate things. You meet a girl, wonder what clicked with your parents so well, boom, flash back and show that they both liked photography and connected over that.

Your style is pure excellence!
