@Bellydance4ever Stop with the race bullshit. There are tons of absolute stupid ignorant people in england, just as in any country. And there are intellectuals, as in any country. Identifying with a race, a country, a religion, or a political ideology is the most ignorant and stupid thing you can possibly do, and those are the root of absolutely every evil.

I think it very important that people vent...infact sometimes it's quite necessary that people express their opinions so that we may address the problems present head on at full face value and fix them. After all as Jesus himself said within one of the Gnostic texts: "there's nothing hidden that won't be revealed" and you most certainly can't escape the truth it will eventually catch up to you. I sure miss Pope John Paul II...I actually liked that one.

@MrEnlighteneddespot You are powerless to stop the inexorable march of progress and the decline of your precious church. I hope your own spite and hatred torment you as you witness people around you exercise their secular freedoms, and, increasingly, open their eyes to the lie that is religion.

@LosIlluminados Money made by the church largely goes towards dispensing charity through CAFOD, as well as funding moral Christian organisations such as society for the protection of the unborn child. Stephen Fry whereas splashing out of mansion's, technology and box office season tickets at Norwich City FC. And how does he get that money? By spreading the word that Christ was a liar. The membership of the Catholic Church is increasing as much as it is decreasing.
-
@MrEnlighteneddespot doesn't the church make much more money doing the same?
also, you forgot to mention large membership rapidly decreasing.
-
@uniteordie1 Erm, yes it is true. Stephen Fry makes money by propagating immorality and he's proud of it. The nerve the man has to slander a church with such large membership, rightousness and tradition as the Catholic Church. Why don't you grow up and start obeying God.
-
@MrEnlighteneddespot ohhhh! You got him there! Never mind the fact that it isn't true or based on anything, you called him names. Win for you! *sarcasm* Grow up.

@lynottlives Please, don't feed the Creationists...
@Thatonedude917 I agree! The British are intellectual, I admire them.

Stephen Fry isn't against Faith, he is against the marriage of religion and politic. Being a Baptist myself, and going to Southern Baptist Churches in N. Carolina in my teens, I was apalled and disguested by how they found everything evil. They found Disney movies evil, they found movies with gay people unsuitable. They were always getting their neck into politics, and I HATED that. Always. Just like wonderful Mr. Fry says, it's about love and search for moral truth.
