I know, personally, many breast cancer survivors who have had humiliating experiences like this, including women who choose to go breastless being force to strip down to the undershirt for no apparent reason. This has led our community to assume that somehow our "abnormalities" is causing screeners to believe there is something "fishy" going on requiring a pat down. At least we hope that is what it is and not purient interest.
