@MrLittletomdj "The United States ended its combat mission in Iraq in August 2010, drawing down its troop commitment to 50,000 from a high of 144,000 when Obama took office. At one point, there were 170,000 U.S. troops in Iraq. Today, there are 13,000." Also, the complete withdrawal is schedule for 2012, not 2014. the link to the article I posted explains why it's taken about a year to disassemble and move the 500 bases that were built and enlarged for over 8 years.
