Poetic, lyrical -- and, rationally speaking, irredeemably romantic. :-/

This is the biggest truth I have ever heard/seen in song form....there are no words to fully express my gratitude for your work.

The body is recycled. The information in our DNA is what persists. It doesn't matter which particular collection of atoms it is written on at any given time; the information is important, not the matter. Carl Sagan said it this way: "The beauty of a living thing is not the atoms that go into it, but the way those atoms are put together." DNA contains cosmic notes on how to put together atoms to make a viable living thing, gleaned from billions of years of experience.

except that I think it is the body that does the remembering, and I don't know what "soul" is without body. Mathematical cosmologist Brian Swimme says : "Show me some matter that isn't bio-spiritual". It is matter that does the remembering - that we are the transformation of the ages.
