Cal Poly launched their first group mentoring day to huge success. A cooperative effort of Cal Poly Alumni Association, the College of Engineering and the Engineering Student Council, more than 100 people participated in the first Mustang Mentoring Day. To participate, students had to apply and were required to take training sessions that helped them maximize the opportunity. The day started with team-building exercises, progressed to speed-mentoring sessions and ended with one-on-one discussions after mentors and mentees were paired based on student preferences.
