In Hospitals they use ETOH or alcohol IV for antifreeze ingestions. Just thought I would let everybody know.

@23Butanedione Doesnt matter what the alcohal is. The point is the alcohal. Shooting it straight into your vein makes it so you feel 100% of the alcohal becuase it doesnt get filterd and processed by the liver. So its obviously way more intense. But yes, i agree he did it for attention most likely.

I am an I.V. heroin user and I think this is the dumbest thing you can do. Steve-O is just grappling for attention and apparently with over 11,000 veiws hes got it. Vodka is really just alcohol and water so its not the worst liqour to shove in your veins... It will allways be better to shoot dope and drink your liquour.

@DonkymanCominAtYa if you think he is not an idiot for trying this, than you sir are a complete and utter idiot. hospitols use I.V. alcohol for multiple reasons, but they dont use vodka. Honestly, vodka is probably one of the better choices of liquor to I.V. compared to wine, beer or whiskey which is riddled with impureities. Go ahead and try this and you too can be as dumb as Steve-O.

@TheNeekerirotta They did this in Norway (Don't know if they still do this) with alcoholics, also I think there are certain substances in vodka that you don't want in your bloodstream.

They do this in hospitals too, I'm not sure in what cases, but they inject medical ethanol directly to your veins. There's nothing irresponsible about this stunt, and he wasn't really in a danger of dying...
