Sawyer was originally supposed to be city gangster type character. If you listen closely to the dialogue you can easily tell how different the character is. They changed the character to fit Josh Holloway better, so it's a bit unfair to say Matthew Fox would have been bad. He just isn't "Sawyer" because "Sawyer" was specifically fitted to Josh Holloway.

i couldnt have seen him acting like this for 1 minute.. i would have changed channel.. and would never knew about lost.

I didn't realize until moments after the video he had auditioned for Sawyer. This tells me even if he comes off as someone different he's still Jack.

Matthew Fox would of been great as Sawyer or Jack but bloody hell he would of been a scary Sawyer....
