@blakodeel I guess it all depends on what exactly is meant to "pledge allegiance to it," and what are the limits of that pledge to where it gets over ridden, if at all.

Allowing the liberal/convervative paradigm to creep into the work of the Holy Spirit is not only wrong but it is dangerous.

I heard Mike Huckabee calling for a "no fly zone" on my local Christian radio station.

I don't care what anyone says.....Jesus and bombs don't mix.

If you want to turn your evenings into a conservative talk show, go buy some air time.

Again, I say it with respect because you may have noticed I come here often.

@1tmoch It's just when we "pledge allegiance" to the flag, it's in effect pledging "allegiance" to the nation in general. The same nation that is doing anything it can to anger God and invent ways to sin; the pledge implying that we support America in this sense. Land of the wicked and home of the sodomite really.

@1tmoch Yes I agree, you're a good egg! I wish Christians would wake up out of the snooze the media has put them in. The issues effecting our lives most acute are never even addressed a long the irrelevant lines of the left/right paradigm:

- The private Federal Reserve tyranny

- Violations of the Constitution by govt.

- Endless undeclared wars in the middle east

- Favored trade w/ communist slave laboring China

These issues Christians need to address, but don't because media is silent.

@1tmoch Sounds good. I am looking to go Street Preaching at the University of Toronto and several other places here in Ontario this summer. Have you seen that video by Eric Holmberg Go Stand and speak . I am planning to go Street Preaching. By this August I should finish my Bachelors in Comparative Religion and Theology. So I will be ready for street preaching.
