@ApoorLottoWinner An average professional in Counter Strike 1.6 makes nearly less than a person working at MacDonalds. The game he was playing looked like Halo, and that isn't even a good spectator game. Don't think you need a lot of spectators to make a game successful enough to spread the money around? Look at Starcraft Broodwar or 2, and then look at DoTa. One looks excitingly fast, and the other one is unbelievably slow and hard to follow if you don't know about the game.
