@Domman56 its defiantly a good motor, I know somebody with one and he has never complained about it
-
@SilverGecko1 Haha yeah i gotta agree with you on that but this is my buddy's truck and i can still admit it runs GREAT and really strong for a 6
-
@weewoodeal i would still rather have an 8 even though the performance is close to the same but i would also prefer an 8 in an S10.. :)

@SilverGecko1 I respectfully disagree with you. I do agree that the weight difference is a major factor. A 88-98 1/2 Ton shortbox would be the only truck i would defend in this statement. Having owned 2 S10s, one tbi and a C-1500 Tbi, the performance results are negligible considering there class.

@Domman56 I put on a "Delta force one chamber race muffler", It kind of resembles a 40 series. Nothing will sound as good as dumped mufflers, it gives it that deeper rumble. What did you end up putting on your GMC?

true, but they sure dont sound it. they spin forever though!

yeah these are some stong motors I was very surprised when i first opened up the taps on this truck
Especially top en this thing runs just like an 8
Haha I cut mine off to but only for about 30 min. Mines sounded exactly the same! (2004 4.3L silverado). I'm about to upload a video with my current flowmaster, check it out.
