I have no idea what you wimps are complaining about. The atmosphere is awesome and recreates the feel of the aliens and predator movies very well. Its a far better incarnation than sierra's AVP2, which was basically quake with cartoony aliens and predator skins. Aliens pounce/explode enemys on impact move was shitty and cheap. Glad its gone.

Ok, but that can be said about anything. Yes it could be "better" to my standards, but that might not be what others want. I just hope they add some DLC, especially multiplayer modes. I want to see a "hive assault" mode where aliens have to harvest human npcs for more reinforcments with a queen and all. Humans would have to kill the queen and defend civilian npcs.

its bad @ for xbox you get use to the alien and predator controls i think its funny people was complaining that alien was over powerd it doesnt even get a gun dipshit! XD what retards just becouse you cant play doesnt mean the game sucks

don't know about console but on pc the texture and the grafics overall are impressive. i enjoy every campain still now and the poor mechanics thing depends on YOUR playstyle that is obviusly race dependent(look the alien... just walk forward and click light attack... O_O). and i loved the design too! expacially the predator campaign one. i'm asking what game you played......

Gameplay wise, this one beats all other avp games out of the water. Now you have to play your race like they are intended instead of spamming spear guns and sniper rifles. This game requires more skill and use of the environment than the last one. You are entitled to your opinion, but I'm also entitled to tell you why you're wrong.

and as i said before, the most disappointing was the atmosphere. avp2 was so good, because of that. the feeling that you are alone, the dark areas, the tension, all contributed to a great atmosphere. in this new awp, i just felt like a space cowboy shooting everything in my patch... it's simply a forgettable experience that doesn't stand out in any way

of course i played. i don't see what was so complex... the fact that you have 3 distinct characters to play? the marine campaign is just a typical straight forward shooter, while the predator and the alien are cool for the first hour or so, and then they become repetitive and frustrating due to terrible level design.

That is not that bad, BUT this game just doesn't stand out. there are lots of better shooters out there.

@macsdude, have you even played the game? It is way more complex and diversed to be classified as "just a shooter"
